Kirkman House Demonstration

Kirkman House Museum

Join Us For A Day of Lace Making at the Museum
Local lace makers will host a day of lace-making at the Kirkman House this Saturday, April 23. Committed to preserving their tradition, these artists create lace using a variety of methods.
Stop by the museum anytime between 10 am and 4 pm to see demonstrations of bobbin lace, tatting and crocheted lace. Historic and contemporary lace will be on display, including recently acquired pieces that belonged to Isabella Kirkman and her daughter, Fanny Ann Reynolds.

The Walla Walla Lacy Lacers spent the day at the Kirkman House. Bobbin Lace, Lace knitting, tatting  and crotchet wers demonstrated. Here are some pictures of our lacers busy at work.
